Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas or a compact state, in good standing
  • License in hand required at submission
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
  • 1+ year of nursing experience preferred
  • Critical care, acute care, or float pool experience highly preferred
  • Travel nursing experience highly preferred
  • Cerner experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
  • Must be comfortable floating to multiple units and adapting quickly to changing patient needs
  • Compliance items, labs, and required documentation must be completed within the required timeframes

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for assigned patients across the nursing unit
  • Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Collaborate with the health care team to support evidence-based care and a healing environment
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting
  • Float as needed to Med Surg, Tele, Surg/Ortho, PCU, ER Hold, ER, Psych, and Inpatient Rehab units
  • Support team leadership and communication within the nursing team
  • Maintain compliance with unit policies, documentation standards, and required training modules
