Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager with 2+ years of case management experience for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring floating to sister campuses.

• Hospital Care Management department setting
• 8-hour day shifts from 0800 to 1630, 5 shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating required to sister campuses located within 15-20 minutes of each other, with travelers prioritized to float first
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license with Nursys verification required
• BLS certification required
• Care Management certification (ACM or CCM) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience required
• Nursing school degree accreditation documentation required
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Perform case management and utilization review duties within an acute care hospital setting
• Interview process includes an HWL prescreen interview followed by a manager final interview before offer
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement including verification of property ownership or co-signage within the radius
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, though candidates must be in the area on Friday for in-person badge and ID processing
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Candidates are expected to integrate into unit culture and function as core staff
