About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe trauma surgery nurse practitioner will provide inpatient night shift coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in California. Responsibilities include taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, making assessments and diagnoses, and initiating, reviewing, and revising treatment and therapy plans. The clinician will manage a daily patient census of 20-25 patients on the Trauma Service. Board certification is required for this assignment, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
