Transportation Supervisor

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of bus drivers and bus monitors. The Transportation Supervisor assists with vehicle service maintenance, minor fleet repairs, staff safety meetings and in-service trainings, on-going bus observations, ensuring transportation safety measures are adhered to and monitored, assist in on-boarding new staff, check bus routes and stops safety as well as transport of children to and from school as a substitute bus driver, as needed.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License with School Bus Endorsement “S” and Passenger Endorsement “P”.
• School Bus Driver’s Certificate.
• School Bus Driver Instructor Certificate.

Experience

• One Year of Supervisory Experience required.
• Driving record free of any moving violations within the last five years.

Skills

• Strong computer/database skills, especially with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Starting Pay: $28.37 per hour

Full Time: 40 hours per week

Full Year: 52 weeks per year
