Our Vivalon Rides division provides safe, reliable transportation for adults with developmental disabilities across multiple California counties, helping riders maintain their independence and quality of life.

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor to join our Modesto-area operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a transportation professional who is passionate about safety, leadership, and customer service.

As a Transportation Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our drivers are supported, developed, and equipped to provide exceptional service every day. You will serve as the first line of leadership for a dedicated team of professional drivers and contribute directly to the success of our operation.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and support a team of transportation professionals
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development
• Recognize and celebrate employee achievements
• Support driver training, onboarding, and compliance efforts
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellent customer service
• Assist with daily transportation operations and problem-solving
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations

Requirements:

  

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a transportation environment
• Experience managing or overseeing commercial drivers
• Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ADA transportation requirements and regulations
• Familiarity with passenger transportation operations
• Understanding of state and federal transportation safety regulations
• Experience working with contract transportation services
• Knowledge of the Central Valley and surrounding service areas

Compensation

$26.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
