Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individual to fill a full-timeTransportation Supervisor 2 position at our Averill Warehouse location in Flint.
$20/ hour Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assists in the direction of work to meet pickup and delivery schedules.
- Assumes dock area responsibilities in the absence of supervisor.
- Assists in training and evaluation of dock personnel
- Responsible for housekeeping of dock area, truck wells, and removal of trash.
- Monitors trash compactor.
- Ability to drive a 53 ft semi or box truck when needed.
- Monitors metal salvage.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, maintaining a good attendance record.

Think you've got what it takes?
- High school diploma/GED required
- Valid Michigan Commercial driver's license with the endorsements required to drive a 53ft semi and box truck, along with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Clearinghouse License reference check.
- Logistics experience is preferred; management experience required
- Knowledge and experience with unions preferred
- Computer competencies, including MS Word and Excel, and a strong emphasis on safety are required.
- Show initiative, good judgment, and dependability
