Position: Transportation Specialist
Pay Rate; $23 DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and transportation availability.
Coordinate drayage movements between ports, rail terminals, warehouses, and customer facilities.
Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer requirements and equipment availability.
Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers.
Resolve transportation delays, service disruptions, and customer concerns.
Maintain accurate records of orders, appointments, and delivery confirmations.
Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
Experience in customer service, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
Preferred Knowledge of drayage, trucking, intermodal transportation, or freight operations preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
