Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Transportation Services Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills and an interest in natural gas operations, transportation services, and business process improvement.

Rate Range: $35/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Transportation Services Analyst job responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Support transportation services operations by analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and operational improvement.

  • Collaborate with Gas Supply, Volume Administration, Customer Billing, and Regulatory departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of transportation services information.

  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of operational data to assist with business decision-making and process optimization.

  • Assist in maintaining common processes across transportation services territories to promote consistency and cost-effective operations.

  • Work with SAP subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to support transportation services and gas supply activities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in energy, utilities, business analysis, operations, or a related field.

  • Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, SAP, FileNet

  • Understanding of:

  • Natural Gas Markets, Pipeline Operations, Transportation Services, Energy Industry Operations.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with energy trading, scheduling, or transportation systems.

  • Knowledge of natural gas transportation regulations and pipeline operations.

  • Familiarity with business process improvement initiatives and operational reporting.

  • Experience working within utility, energy, or natural gas environments.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
