As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $24.25 / Hour

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, suspicious activity, access-control concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
