Job Description:

Dewberry is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Deputy Project Manager for our Charlotte, NC office. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a top Transportation Design firm. We are seeking a candidate that will have the opportunity to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice in Raleigh.

Responsibilities:
  • Task management of Transportation design projects.
  • Supervision of support staff and document production.
  • Monitoring budgets and schedules.
  • Assisting with and collaboration with team members on the marketing of new projects.
  • Interfacing with clients.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
  • BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in the design of highways, roads and greenways, preferrably in North Carolina.
  • PE required or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Experience with NCDOT projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MicroStation or ORD.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
