Transportation Civil Engineer
Work with one of the larger engineering firm in the US.Â
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop road infrastructure projects, including highways, local streets, and intersections
Be able to design highways and off ramps on your own
Conduct site assessments and field surveys to support project planning and design
Prepare detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, and accurate cost estimates
Ensure project designs meet all applicable local, state (including INDOT), and federal regulations and standards
Manage and monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Conduct quality assurance reviews of roadway design work prepared by others
Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions
Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team success
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required
5-10 years
of relevant experience in transportation projects, particularly with INDOT, local municipalities, and counties
INDOT experience needed
Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related civil engineering design software
