    Amazon Transportation Services have built world-class Middle Mile operations, which rely on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers' expectations. TRC is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as a Transportation Risk Manager, responsible for making our compliance and monitoring programs run better, faster, and smarter, while safeguarding the health of the organization and driving a culture of compliance both internally and externally.

    The right candidate is someone who understands compliance and monitoring environments well enough to spot what"s inefficient, and has the technical capability to fix it or architect the fix. The successful candidate will be comfortable inheriting ambiguity, reshaping processes that aren"t working, and building solutions that scale. They will have exceptional attention to detail and strong data-driven and tech mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills for stakeholder management and earning teams" trust. Finally, the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Optimize and improve audit and monitoring activities by identifying inefficiencies in how they are designed, configured, and executed - then building or coordinating technical solutions
    • Automate and streamline internal team workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing consistency in how work gets planned, tracked, and delivered
    • Provide precise reports and clear recommendations to internal stakeholders and Amazon leadership wherever required
    • Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
    • Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary
