    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor s degree. A minimum of four years experience in project management, engineering, logistics and Operations planning, designing, and implementation of multimodal transportation. Additional related experience in project management, engineering, planning, designing, and implementation of multimodal may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.

    he Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is seeking an experienced transportation planning professional to lead key strategic initiatives that shape the future of public transit in Miami-Dade County.

    This position will oversee the development and implementation of the Transit Development Plan, Comprehensive Operational Analysis, and Transit-Oriented Development initiatives. The selected candidate will perform advanced professional work involving complex transportation planning, policy development, and multimodal mobility initiatives.

    Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating complex planning studies; conducting research and analyzing transportation data; developing recommendations to improve transit services and infrastructure; and preparing comprehensive reports, presentations, and policy documents for executive leadership and stakeholders. The incumbent will collaborate with internal departments, government agencies, consultants, and community partners to support the Countys long-range transportation goals.
