Subsidiary: OmniSource Overview:

Communication and coordination of export logistics in regard to transportation of material.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule of all nonferrous truck loads from OmniSource SE facilities.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments with customers.
  • Communicate with yards on transportation scheduling and issues as they arise.
  • Update and maintain transportation accounts receivables.
  • Maintain export available for sale reporting.
  • Enter export contracts.
  • Complete CCIC and all other documentation for export.
  • Request bookings for freight.
  • Compile information on export claims.
  • All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of transportation and/or logistics.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three years related experience.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
