Transportation Planner I

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Transportation Planner I for a global industrial automation manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in transportation planning and logistics coordination looking to further their career in supply chain and logistics.

•      Plan, coordinate, and execute daily North America and international freight shipments across truckload, LTL, parcel, air, and ocean

•      Use a Transportation Management System (TMS) to book loads, assign carriers, track shipments, and resolve exceptions

•      Use SAP to process purchase orders, create delivery documents, and reconcile freight data

•      Communicate delays proactively to manufacturing, distribution, and customer service teams

•      Partner with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs to ensure on-time, compliant delivery and accurate records

Essential Qualifications

•      1–3 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations (North America and/or international)

•      Hands-on SAP and TMS experience; familiarity with TL, LTL, and parcel carriers

•      Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
