Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Management (TM) Principal Consultant / Solution Architect with 10+ years of relevant experience to lead the technical architecture and solution design for SAP S/4HANA TMS implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for overall technical architecture, solution design, software delivery, and enterprise architecture strategy across logistics and transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Strategy: Lead technical architecture, system scope definition, and design for SAP S/4HANA TMS while establishing enterprise architecture strategies, standards, and guiding principles.
Full-Lifecycle Execution: Analyze business requirements and drive full development lifecycle delivery, configuring, modifying, and updating complex TMS program routines.
Functional Integration & Testing: Define, test, train, implement, and support core functional areas within TMS and integrated ERP application systems.
Technical Leadership & Governance: Oversee software development practices, manage project scope, risks, and resources, and mentor development teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders across matrix organizations and multi-geographic teams; periodically travel to distribution centers and plants to align solution delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and managing SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions.
Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA TMS architecture, systems integration, and complex TMS configurations.
Methodologies & Tools: Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology, Azure DevOps, and MS Project.
Soft Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, leadership, facilitation, and communication skills with a proven track record of managing stakeholders across matrix organizations.
