Job Title: Transportation & Logistics Supervisor
Location: Denver, CO 80239
100% Onsite role
Duration: 4 Months Temp to perm.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 6:00am until work complete with Mandatory OT required

Position Summary
We are seeking a Transportation & Logistics Supervisor to oversee the timely, compliant, and secure movement of materials, products, and medical samples throughout the supply chain. This role is responsible for leading daily transportation operations, ensuring product integrity, maintaining supply continuity, and supporting operational excellence across suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, clinical sites, customers, and patients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, along with strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the movement of materials, products, and medical samples across the supply chain network.
  • Import & Export Experience
  • Preparing Master Air Way Bill for shipment.
  • Bookings for shipments that required this prior to export.
  • Filing SED for required shipments.
  • Air Import/Export experience preferred airways bills
  • Full understanding of the importance of Cold Chain Management
  • Airlines Experience
  • Prepare Bill of Lading (Domestic and International shipments by Air and Truck)
  • Secure cargo space by booking via Telecomm, web, e-mail, etc.)
  • File Shipper’s Export Declarations for high valued shipments
  • Pre-screen cargo for export where applicable
  • Refurbish reusable packaging
  • Monitor, respond to and action follow up notes in a timely manner
  • Monitor, respond to and action personal and group email accounts in a timely manner
  • Monitor all “On-Hold” shipments for export and/or delivery approval
  • Monitor and update the Outbound Flight Monitor
  • Proficiency in Cold Chain Management which will include but not limited to
  • Gel Pack/Packaging preparation
  • Gel Pack/Packaging refurbishment
  • Gel Pack/Packaging configuration
  • Ability to lift between 25–70 lbs
  • Lead day-to-day transportation and logistics operations to ensure service reliability and supply continuity.
  • Coordinate transportation activities, distribution flows, and service execution to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Manage transportation resources and tracking systems to improve visibility, traceability, and operational control.
  • Monitor transportation performance, asset utilization, and shipment tracking data.
  • Resolve routine operational issues and support daily logistics decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, quality, safety, and handling requirements.
  • Maintain product integrity and chain-of-custody standards throughout transportation activities.
  • Identify and recommend process, system, and vendor improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Support cost management initiatives while maintaining service levels and operational standards.
  • Lead team performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and align workloads to support business priorities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, distribution, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations, distribution processes, and supply chain principles.
  • Experience working with transportation tracking systems, logistics metrics, and operational reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, quality, and safety requirements within logistics and transportation environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3 plus years of supervisory or management experience.
Professional certification such as:
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
  • Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Or equivalent industry-recognized certification

  • Maintain open communication with program support teams and stakeholders.

  • Identify, assess, and respond to client issues and requests.
  • Proactively identify operational and program-related challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with contract requirements and billing processes.
  • Participate in budget planning and financial management activities.
  • Attend capability and operational planning meetings.
  • Maintain accountability for program quality, compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Design project plans, workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Analyze operational reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor progress on tactical initiatives and drive issue resolution.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Primarily will be working in the warehouse during training and live work with a mix of office-based, quiet work environment.
  • Significant computer use (75% or more of the workday).
  • Ability to perform sedentary work including typing, reaching, speaking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Required to stand and walk periodically throughout the day.
  • Ability to manage stress and adapt to changing business needs.
