We are looking for a Transportation Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years experience in the Merrillville, IN area.
- Lead transportation design calculations/reports/plan preparation/roadway modeling
- Assist office leadership in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluations.
- Develop peer network with staff at other firms and public agencies to enhance personal and firm relationships during project coordination efforts.
- Coordinate project tasks and report to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking.
- Support Indianapolis regional offices on a variety of infrastructure projects
Required:- Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- 5+ years experience is designing transportation projects.
- Background working on INDOT, county, and municipal transportation design projects.
- Project management experience and experience leading project teams (preferred)
- Technical knowledge/ computer skills:
- MicroStation / Bentley Open Roads Designer (required)
- Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook (required)
- Adobe (preferred)
- PE in PREFERRED but NOT required
