Transportation Engineer

Develop peer network with staff at other firms and public agencies to enhance personal and firm relationships during project coordination efforts. Coordinate project tasks and report to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking.

We are looking for a Transportation Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years experience in the Indianapolis, IN area. 
 

• Lead transportation design calculations/reports/plan preparation/roadway modeling
• Assist office leadership in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluations.
• Develop peer network with staff at other firms and public agencies to enhance personal and firm relationships during project coordination efforts.
• Coordinate project tasks and report to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking.
• Support Indianapolis regional offices on a variety of infrastructure projects

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• 3+ years’ experience is designing transportation projects.
• Background working on INDOT, county, and municipal transportation design projects.
• Project management experience and experience leading project teams (preferred)
• Technical knowledge/ computer skills:
• MicroStation / Bentley Open Roads Designer (required)
• Microsoft Office products:  Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook (required)
• Adobe (preferred)
• PE in PREFERRED but NOT required
