Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and team-oriented Dispatching Assistant to

support our transportation operations team. This position serves as a key point of

contact for brokers, members, and drivers, ensuring efficient communication and

smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced

environment, has strong customer service skills, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls from brokers, members, and drivers using a VOIP phone
system.
Assist dispatchers with assigning and scheduling transportation trips.
Communicate trip updates and information accurately and professionally.
Monitor and respond to calls, messages, and dispatch requests in a timely
manner.
Maintain accurate records and update dispatch systems as needed.
Coordinate with drivers and dispatch staff to resolve scheduling and operational
issues.
Provide exceptional customer service to all callers and stakeholders.
Support daily administrative and operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience with Modivcare is a PLUS
Experience with Wellryde application is a PLUS
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using computers, dispatch software, and VOIP phone systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Previous dispatching, transportation, call center, or customer service experience
is preferred but not required
