Coordinate with carriers, distribution centers, production plants, and customers to resolve shipment delays and service issues. We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage shipment tracking, carrier coordination, and on-time delivery for inbound and outbound freight.

Pay Rate : $28.00/Hour On W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage shipment tracking, carrier coordination, and on-time delivery for inbound and outbound freight. This role will support a new software and process implementation while ensuring efficient transportation operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track shipments daily using FourKites and follow up with carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Schedule and tender freight, coordinate delivery appointments, and update SAP/TMS systems.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, reason codes, and on-time performance reports.
• Coordinate with carriers, distribution centers, production plants, and customers to resolve shipment delays and service issues.
• Manage carrier relationships, detention charges, accessorial approvals, and transportation costs.
• Troubleshoot EDI 214 errors, process customer returns, and support carrier onboarding.
• Monitor product availability, order consolidation, and customer fill rates.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or transportation environment.
• Proficiency in web-based systems, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong multitasking, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
