    Schedule

    • Sunday through Thursday
    • 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
    • Schedule and hours may vary based on business needs.
    • Overtime may be required.
       

    Main Ingredients of the Job

    As a Transportation Coordinator, you will support transportation and warehouse operations by ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining compliance, tracking operational metrics, and supporting daily logistics.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Prepare and process routine transportation and warehouse documents, including inbound documents, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, DVIRs, shipping labels, backhaul spreadsheets, delivery window dispatch reports, driver key logs, and transportation route updates.
    • Resolve operational issues or escalate concerns to the appropriate leadership.
    • Communicate with internal and external customers to support transportation and warehouse operations.
    • Research and respond to inquiries while ensuring timely resolution.
    • Verify information and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Collect, track, and maintain operational metrics including shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service levels, overtime, trailer temperature logs, and other key performance indicators.
    • Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, charts, and databases for management review.
    • Assist with training and development of junior clerical associates.
    • Monitor office supply inventory and initiate purchase orders as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
       

    Work Environment

    • Primarily office-based.
    • Occasional work in warehouse, cooler, and freezer environments with temperatures as low as -5°F.
       

    What You Bring to the Table

    Education

    • High School Diploma or GED required.

    Related Experience

    • Minimum of three years of clerical experience required.
       

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities.
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Ability to perform cross-functional responsibilities.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
       

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
    • Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulations.
    • Knowledge of the local geographic delivery area.
    • Experience with systems such as SAE, Truck Builder, Red Prairie, Kronos, RoadNet, XATA, ShopFax, Tandem, PowerDock, Checkpoint, Omnitracs, Airclic, equipment inventories, and warranties.
       

    Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $18.63 and $31.04 per hour.

    This role will also receive overtime compensation, as applicable.

    Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds).  The expected base rate for this role is between

    $19 - $29
