Transportation Coordinator

The role of the Transportation Coordinator is to oversee transportation for all BFCCPS students. This individual works closely with administration, other staff, community contacts, vendors, parents and students.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Design daily bus routes, set safe bus stops, and organize transport for special education and field trips
• Act as liaison between the school and transportation vendors and Town of Franklin transportation office
• Coordinate with transportation company re: routes, discipline, and safety training as needed
• Communicate directly with students and parents regarding questions and issues related to buses
• Maintain accurate records of student bus assignments
• Support various school events

BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts. As a K-8 school, our mission is to assist parents in their role as primary educators of their children by providing students with a classical academic education coupled with sound character development and community service.
