Description

Job Title: Transportation Coordinator - EXP
Job Duration: 12+ months
Est. Pay Range: 18.00 – 19.00/hr. USD
Work Type: Onsite

Overview/Responsibilities:
Manages the activities in such functions as dock operations, material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory control, carrier management, and scheduling of shipments (full truck, LTL, rail, containers, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment.
Unload Trailers, stage kits & or parts in the appropriate / designated locations.
Remove empties from the Point of Use.
Replenish Point of use with the appropriate kits at the right place and the right time.
Create Inbound manifest and track swim lane health and follow up with corrective actions.
Act as first response to the line for parts not delivered to point of use and determine best ordering method to deliver parts.
Flexible in working off-site at the 3PL when needed to drive material flow improvement activities.
Execute daily walks with the 3PL to ensure parts are picked on time and in point of use when required.
Perform end of shift review with 3PL to ensure preparedness for the following morning.
Work with warehouse to ensure delivery of emergency orders.
Ability to work with multiple priorities of the business.
Ability to work overtime and beyond 40 hours when needed to support production.
