    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Verify all Bill of Lading for signatures and confirm all deliveries are made.
    • Maintain all Transportation files including reports, invoices, receipts, miles and driver logs.
    • Tracking all invoices billed to Transportation for accurate billing
    • Review all driver time cards are accurate and driver payroll is correct
    • Handle phone calls from customers, drivers, sales department and customer service concerning deliveries.
    • Process C.O.D.'s
    • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner complying with all company policies, rules and regulations.
    • Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School diploma preferred
    • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices
    • Excellent attendance record
    • Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed
    • Excellent computer skills, including Work and Excel spreadsheets
    • Good math and reading skills
    • Excellent customer service internal and external
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
    • Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
    • Previous transportation experience preferred
    • Must be a team player with a can do attitude
    • Power Equipment certification a plus
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position

    SHIFT

    Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
