We are seeking a Transportation Aide for a skilled nursing facility in Myerstown, PA.
The Transportation Aide is responsible for safely driving the facility vehicle to transport residents to and from appointments while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Shift Available
- PRN (as needed)
- Day Shift
- Must work Saturdays
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation and escort services for residents to and from physician appointments, dialysis, and other necessary destinations
- Assist residents with safe entry and exit from the vehicle
- Ensure resident safety and comfort during transport
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding transport schedules and resident needs
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the transportation vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record
- CNA license required
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
