    Description

    Location: Mt. Sterling, IL

    Department: DTI Admin

    Reports To: Admin Supervisor

    Wage Range: $16.53 - $23.55 plus bonus opportunity

    As a DTI Admin, you will support the Dot Transportation Inc. Admin department through the creation of critical reports and system downloads as required, as well as managing the Owner Operator Payroll Process and a significant portion of the driver payroll process.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Tracks and measures key areas of significance in which Transportation is responsible for.
    • Follows up on inquiries that require investigation and extraction of data from various computer systems
    • Documents procedures and creates work instructions for ease of training and education
    • Trains and educates the department on use of payroll software and processes; ensures payroll processes, policies and practices are interpreted and applied consistently and effectively to transportation leaders across distribution centers
    • Provides general support for staff within the department and internal and external customers
    • Serves on a variety of committees as assigned; attends and participates in professional group meetings
    • Works with the Information Technology department in developing and testing new programs specific to transportation pay processes
    • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree
    • Strong computer skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

    • Four-year college degree
    • Knowledge of Access and PowerPoint
    • Effectively work independently as well as in a team environment

    Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM
