How you'll make an impact in this role:

  • Orchestrate Socioeconomic Assistance Capture: Proactively screen and enroll eligible patients into state Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), institutional charity care, and specialized pharmaceutical copay assistance programs.

  • Drive Denial & Appeals Mitigation: Meticulously track, audit, and troubleshoot front-end insurance denials, partnering with clinical teams to draft high-priority appeals and protect the program's bottom line.

  • Enforce Data & Regulatory Integrity: Maintain precise documentation of all clearance statuses, authorization thresholds, and institutional metrics within the EMR in strict alignment with CMS and UNOS financial regulations.

  • Transplant Program Acumen (Preferred): Prior direct experience operating within a solid organ or bone marrow transplant program is highly desirable.

  • High-Velocity Caseload Management: Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to drive multiple high-priority, life-dependent cases forward in a high-volume, regulated setting.
