Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Lead Transmission Line Engineer to their Pittsburgh office!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee design reviews/validation procedures
- Ensure accuracy and safety of the design of high voltage transmission lines usingPLS-CADD
- Establish quality standards aligned with industry best practices
- Develop/implement quality control procedures
- Mentor/train junior staff with varying levels of experience
- Communicate with project managers to align quality goals with schedule/budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electricalengineering or engineering technology
- 5+ years of power utility design
- LicensedProfessional Engineer (PE)
- Proficient in PLS CAD and AutoCAD
- Expert in the analysis of transmission structures
- Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations
- ValidDriver’s License is required
Salary is commensurate with experience.
