Transit Driver - Full Time

The City of Frankfort is currently seeking a dedicated Transit Driver to join our Public Works team. This full-time position operates out of our new facility and involves operating City passenger vehicles following designated routes or demand-response ADA routing. Key responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety, performing pre-trip vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate logs.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid Commonwealth of Kentucky Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements is preferred (or must be obtained within three months of hire)
• One year of experience driving a bus or similar vehicle is preferred
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check
