    Lead a team at the heart of the homeowner transfer and disclosure process! The Transfers & Disclosures Manager oversees and trains staff while ensuring accurate, timely processing of disclosures and property ownership transfers across a complex portfolio. This role manages critical deadlines and workflows, including incoming deeds, escrow checks, invoices, and payment coupons, while maintaining consistent processes from initial disclosure through completed ownership transfer.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Lead, develop, and manage the Transfers and Disclosures teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and ongoing development of staff.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all transfer and disclosure activities in accordance with company standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
    • Establish and maintain clear workflows, procedures, and controls to support consistency, scalability, and quality of output.
    • Monitor departmental performance through reporting, audits, and key metrics; identify trends and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Oversee workload distribution and portfolio assignments to ensure appropriate coverage and balanced team capacity.
    • Partner with internal departments and leadership to ensure alignment on processes, expectations, and service delivery related to transfers and disclosures.
    • Maintain strong professional relationships with external vendors and partners, including but not limited to resale and disclosure service providers.
    • Ensure team members are properly trained on systems, tools, and processes; support the development and maintenance of training materials and resources.
    • Review and approve financial transactions generated by the team, including refunds, transfer-related payments, and error corrections, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Evaluate department processes on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading the implementation of enhancements.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives, representing the Transfers and Disclosures function and contributing to broader operational improvements.
    • Ensure adherence to all applicable deadlines, service level expectations, and company policies.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to drive accountability.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and quality.
    • Working knowledge of operational and accounting processes related to transfers and disclosures.
    • Knowledge of accounts receivable, payment processing, and reconciliations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate metrics and identify process improvements.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, VMS, and applicable internal systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while fostering a positive, productive team environment.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    • Utilizing a computer in an office setting.
    • Position involves sitting, standing, and movement throughout the day in the office.
    • Requires occasional local travel to meetings as needed.
