    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements.

    • Handle acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets.

    • Prepare and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, amendments, estoppel certificates, SNDAs, and other transaction-related documents.

    • Manage commercial real estate transactions from Letter of Intent (LOI) through closing.

    • Conduct legal due diligence and identify potential transactional risks.

    • Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful closings.

    • Provide practical legal advice and strategic guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

    • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.

    • 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.

    • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases.

    • Experience handling acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate.

    • Proficiency in preparing and negotiating:

      • Purchase and Sale Agreements

      • Lease Amendments

      • Estoppel Certificates

      • Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements (SNDAs)

      • Closing Documents

    • Ability to independently manage the full transaction lifecycle.

    • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with industrial, office, medical office building (MOB), or healthcare-related real estate transactions.

    • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

    • Strong client relationship management skills.

    • Experience working in a collaborative law firm environment.
