We are seeking experienced in-house transactional attorneys to contribute to the development, evaluation, and application of advanced legal AI technology.
This opportunity is well suited to attorneys with strong experience in technology transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining who are interested in applying their legal expertise to AI research and evaluation.
You will review and assess contract-related workflows, evaluate AI-generated legal responses, and provide expert feedback that helps improve the accuracy, reasoning, and practical usefulness of AI systems in real-world legal work.
Perform simulated contract negotiations and detailed contract redlining exercises.
Review and evaluate AI responses to transactional legal scenarios.
Identify legal, commercial, and drafting issues and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance on contract-related tasks.
Help establish guidelines and best practices for AI-assisted contract review and negotiation.
Collaborate with product and research teams to improve training data, evaluation methodologies, and legal workflows.
3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
Strong experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other commercial technology agreements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to translate complex legal judgment into clear, structured, and actionable feedback.
Demonstrated interest in the intersection of law, technology, and AI.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with AI, legal technology, or legal training/evaluation initiatives.
Prior experience at a corporate law firm in M&A or private equity fund formation.
Additional experience advising technology companies on commercial and strategic transactions.
