Training Support Coordinator - PLMSP
Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP) | Palladium
Palladium is a global leader in the design, development and delivery of Positive Impact. We work with governments, communities and the private sector to address complex challenges and create enduring social and economic value.
Palladium is contracted by the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to deliver the Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP), supporting Pacific Island Countries and Timor-Leste to participate in the PALM scheme in inclusive, safe and sustainable ways.
About Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program
The Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme is a signature initiative for the Australian Government that enables workers from 9 Pacific Island Countries (PICs) and Timor-Leste to work in priority sectors in Australia. The Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP) builds on the successes of the Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) program, with a renewed focus on the provision of tailored support to worker sending countries to address their specific needs and priorities. Palladium is contracted to deliver PLMSP on behalf of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
About the role
The Training Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the PALM Prepare Framework across the Pacific and Timor-Leste. Working closely with the Training Support Managers and Engagement Managers (EMs), the role supports the development and implementation of Country Delivery Plans (CDPs), ensuring workers and their families receive high-quality preparation for successful participation in the PALM scheme.
Partnering with Labour Sending Units (LSUs) trainers and in-country stakeholders, the Training Support Coordinator helps strengthen training capability, coordinate preparation activities, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on labour mobility outcomes while contributing to the success of the Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP).
