Training Specialist
Camp Spring MD (Light-Hybrid)
Pay From: $38.00 per hour
MUST:
Current Public Trust with USCIS or DHS Suitability highly preferred
Eligible for Public Trust Level 3
7+ years of experience professional technical expertise
4+ years of experience in training and instructional field
2+ years of federal government experience
Preferred experience supporting ICAM related material
Experience supporting and developing instructor materials and student materials
Experience with second level support and coordinating training with help desk personnel
Exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills
Strong documentation skills
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
Bachelors Degree required
Preferred : Experience creating role-based training; Learning Management System (LMS); and SharePoint, Confluence, and/or Teams for Knowledge Based Articles
DUTIES :
The ideal candidate will develop, disseminate, and instruct computer-based training.
Develop and revises training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs
Develop courses and instructional material to educate technical and non-technical personnel in ICAM related subject matter
Prepare student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms, etc.)
Prepare instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids, etc.)
Provide standards, services, and guidance on ICAM related training programs that are designed to enable government agency personnel to use information technologies and systems more productively
Apply in-depth knowledge of appropriate hardware and software, ICAM functions and related technical terminology, and their application in everyday business situations
