General Description and Classification Standards:
Training Specialist II is a role within the Organizational Development unit of the Department of Human Resources. The Training Specialist II delivers employee development training to management/staff for the City of Atlanta/Department of Aviation. This is an experienced professional who implements and administers development and training programs for all employees citywide.
Supervision Received:
Performs work under general supervision with review and advice from Training Manager II/Organizational Development Executive Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience -
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of employee development training, and development of adult learning content experience.
This job requires mandatory in office work only.
Licensures and Certifications -
None required.

This is an "in office" position. Physical lifting and sensory capabilities are requirements to
perform the job successfully. Typical environmental conditions associated with job.
Lifting Requirements:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.
