    Training Officer Position Summary:
    The Tennessee Department of Children's Services (DCS) is seeking three qualified and passionate individuals for the role of Training Officer. This position is responsible for developing and delivering training on C-FIRST, Tennessee's Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System to DCS staff. The ideal candidate will have training experience in this system and a working knowledge of training computer systems as well as a strong background in training delivery. This position is hybrid located in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver C-FIRST training to DCS employees, covering the range of C-FIRST application modules and tasks specific to varying roles within the system both in-person and virtually.
    • Develop training materials for specialized tasks in C-FIRST.
    • Generate data within the C-FIRST training sandbox for use in C-FIRST training.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts from the Department of Children's Services and Client to enhance training development and delivery.
    • Provide web-based technical assistance to staff to facilitate system learning.
    • Utilize Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms to conduct and support training sessions
    • Collaborate with training team members and program leadership to ensure consistency and quality in training content and delivery
    • Travel will be required within the State of TN.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • One (1) year of experience in training delivery, adult education, or staff development
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other virtual training tools
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving training environment
    • Bachelor's Degree is required

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience delivering training in a government or human services setting
    • Experience training computer systems

    Work Conditions:
    • Travel may be required for in-person training sessions
    • Hybrid work environment with both remote and on-site responsibilities
