At Chick-fil-A, being a Training Manager is an opportunity to develop people, strengthen the team, and help create consistent excellence throughout the restaurant. The Training Manager role leads training and development efforts while ensuring Team Members and Leaders have the knowledge, skills, and support they need to succeed. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and people-focused individual who is passionate about teaching, coaching, and helping others grow.

Training Manager Responsibilities

• Lead initial and recurring training for Team Members and Leaders
• Ensure new Team Members receive a consistent and effective onboarding and training experience
• Coach Team Members on Chick-fil-A standards, procedures, hospitality, and operational expectations
• Partner with the leadership team to identify training and development needs
• Adjust training plans based on the needs of the business
• Track training progress and communicate development opportunities to the leadership team
• Observe, coach, and provide constructive feedback to Team Members
• Help identify and develop future Leaders
• Maintain training materials, checklists, and required documentation
• Work operationally in the restaurant and maintain a strong understanding of key positions

Leader Expectations

• Maintain a positive and encouraging presence while training and coaching
• Dedicate time to planning, preparation, and Team Member development
• Lead by example and model Chick-fil-A's values
• Communicate clearly with Team Members and Leaders
• Follow up to ensure training is being applied consistently
• Address coaching and performance concerns appropriately and communicate significant concerns to the leadership team
• Take ownership of the restaurant's training experience and results

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous Chick-fil-A, restaurant, training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred
• Open availability and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach, coach, and provide constructive feedback
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with different learning styles and experience levels
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for people and helping others succeed
• Desire to learn, grow, and develop others

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations, including standing for extended periods and lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and arm-hand coordination as required by the position.
