Primary Function
You would be responsible for training U.S. contractors on weapons systems refresher training, as well as scheduling and conducting required daily, weekly, and monthly training. You would conduct instruction in both classroom environments and on the range. Additionally, you may be tasked to support protection teams as needed. This position supports Department of State Worldwide Protective Services III (WPS III) Task Orders in austere environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess a minimum of (2) years as an instructor in a security field.
Must possess a minimum of one (1) year experience working as a FTE firearms instructor; this experience must have been earned as part of other federal, state, or local government training assignments.
Must possess a minimum of five (5) years' experience in protective security assignments.
A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory or in-charge capacity.
A minimum of six (6) months of this experience must have been in protective security under WPS III or any of its predecessor contracts
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
Applicants must pass the pre-employment Physical Readiness Test (PRT) in order to advance in the application process for the position.
