Training Director
The Training Director connects our beloved Team Members to our Vision: We exist to be a place where people are restored.
Responsibilities
- Ensures excellence in the new Team Member experience
- Communicates with Trainees, follows along with their development, and ensures a smooth experience throughout the Training Process
- Leads the team of Training Captains, ensuring they are activated and effective on each shift
- Ensures every Team Member advances healthfully through Training and advances appropriately within the organization
Accountability & Support
- The Training Director is a member of the Director team (working toward Executive Director, Talent and Executive Leadership Team)
- Reporting to: This position reports directly to Cole McKenna, Restaurant Executive Director for Chick-fil-A Lenexa
- Leading: This position leads the Training Captain Team
- This position works 35+ hours per week, with a mix of operational shifts and administrative work
- Closed Sundays
- All members of the ELT are supported with access to Counseling, Spiritual Direction, and a Gym Membership at Lifetime Fitness (or choice of fitness facility)
Metrics
How you will know you are excellent:
- Team Members are competent and confident after no more than five shifts
- Red Shirt Report - 85%+
- Team Member Experience - 90%+
- OSAT - 80%+

- Starting pay: 50k-60k yearly
