About the Team
Alaska Behavioral Health is Alaska's largest outpatient behavioral health provider and a center for excellence in both the delivery of evidence-based treatment and training.
Alaska Behavioral Health is one of the nation's few National Child Traumatic Stress Network's combined Category III treatment centers (The Alaska Child Trauma Center) and Category II, training and technical assistance centers (Rural Child Trauma Center). Alaska Behavioral Health's statewide Mental Health Awareness and Training program provides training statewide to increase awareness and improve services. Through these programs, Alaska Behavioral Health serves as a hub for behavioral health training statewide and nationally with a particular focus on trauma treatment for children and adults; services for veterans, service members, and their families; services in rural areas; evidence-based treatments; and peer support services
