The Job You Will Perform:
The Prattville Mill is currently seeking an Training Coordinator for the HR Department. This position reports to the HR Manager and is responsible for assisting with the administration of the Prattville Mill's Training and Development functions. In addition, this position supports the Human Resources department with various activities such as assisting with hourly recruiting and staffing activities; Provides the necessary assistance to the Training and Human Resources department with a high level of integrity, strong organizational skills and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Schedules and assists in New Hire Orientations;
Assists with Scheduling applicable Leadership trainings (supervisor training; First Line Leader; International Paper Leadership Development, Safety Leadership Training & Certification); creates sign-in sheets; Updates Rosters in the My-Learning System;
Creates spreadsheets for various reports as needed / directed;
Keeps Training Sharepoint Intranet page current and updated;
Assists with maintaining department training calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings;
Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine training inquiries;
Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, record keeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing;
Prepares training materials, create nametags & tents, sign-in sheets and other duties as required for training events;
Assists with scheduling and coordination of in-person and/or off-site trainings, conferences, online and/or self-study trainings;
Manage the Hyster System and Badging System as needed;
Maintain Mill Seniority Roster;
Creates and modifies documents such as reports, memos, letters and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office or other programs;
In line with Corporate Purchasing practices, researches prices and purchases training equipment, materials and/or supplies as needed utilizing an approved company purchase method (ie. Corporate Purchasing/Travel Card)
Support Training and Human Resources staff in assigned projects;
Serves as Prattville Mill's subject matter expert the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Learning Content Management System (LCMS). Performs basic and complex functions in the system; including data entry, reporting, and creation and production of e-course material.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma
1 to 3 years Human Resources and/or Training experience or equivalent professional training (Degree or Technical Certificate).
Strong PC skills required with demonstrated proficient use of Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Word; and Microsoft Power Point.
Prefer experience working with a Training or Learning Content Management System
Utilize strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with groups and individuals at all levels
