Training Coordinator(Manufacturing)

Position Overview

The Production Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, organizing, and improving training processes and procedures within a bakery production environment. This position will focus on creating a streamlined and consistent training experience for new hires while maintaining accurate and organized training documentation.

Approximately 80% of the role will be spent on the production floor, requiring the individual to learn all production positions within the facility and develop a strong understanding of day-to-day bakery operations.

This position reports directly to the Bakery Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Training & New Hire Support

• Develop and maintain training processes and procedures for bakery production operations.
• Streamline and improve the training process for new hires.
• Support the effective onboarding and training of production employees.
• Learn all production positions within the facility to effectively support training activities.
• Ensure training procedures are clear, consistent, and aligned with production requirements.

Training Documentation & Administration

• Maintain and organize employee training files and records.
• Ensure training documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Utilize computer systems and applications to support training administration and recordkeeping.
• Maintain strong attention to detail when managing training information and documentation.

Production Floor Support

• Spend approximately 80% of working time on the production floor.
• Develop a working knowledge of all production roles within the bakery.
• Work closely with production employees and leadership to understand training needs.
• Communicate training processes and expectations clearly to employees.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn and perform all production positions within the facility.
• Ability to work effectively in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills, particularly related to training files and documentation.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to perform production-floor responsibilities, including:

• Standing for extended periods.
• Pushing and pulling.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Stacking boxes up to 7 feet high.
• Working primarily within an active bakery production environment.
