JOB DESCRIPTION
MidAmerican Energy Company is looking for someone who has genuine Oracle C2M and utility implementation experience.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Functional Training Lead to support the Business Management Team and Change Management program during a major system transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for coordinating training activities, supporting curriculum development, managing training schedules, and partnering with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure employees are prepared for the transition to the new system. The Functional Training Lead will play a key role in developing training materials, facilitating content reviews, supporting end-user readiness, and driving successful adoption of new business processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with training lead and project team to identify bootcamps by module and/or topic and schedule events
Align with training lead to review and understand the milestones, key dates and activities and understand/communicate the impact to content review sessions, Train-the-Trainer (TTT), End User Training (EUT) and additional key training milestones
Review course curriculum and plans with Lead Business Unit Trainers; identify business unit SMEs to support as needed
Attend Educational Sessions and bootcamp sessions, as required
Review, test and enhance global process training and guided learning content prior to localized content discussions
Attend project team initiative specific meetings and present, as required
Design affiliate-specific process training/guided learning in partnership with external partner leads (Client and Oracle)
Schedule and lead ongoing content review workshops with the SMEs to ultimately gain approval
Enhance and review OGL content quarterly, and as updates are made to applications
Review Role Mapping information for inconsistencies, partner with the Role Mapping Lead(s) and SMEs to work through updates and changes on an ongoing basis
Create and manage ad-hoc attendee lists as needed for applicable End User Training (EUT) courses
Maintain End User Training resources (PowerPoints, recordings, CBT s, job aids, etc.) and publish to the end user facing location (SharePoint) to support go-live
Onboard, coach and support approved business unit-specific end-user trainers
Provide hyper care activities post go-live
Participate in change network activities post go-live
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
5+ years of experience in training, organizational change management, consulting, business readiness, or system implementation projects
Strong experience developing training materials, process documentation, and job aids
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, and cross-functional meetings
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic project environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M)
Utility industry experience
Previous consulting or change management experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives
Experience working with system integrators and cross-functional project teams
Experience with Train-the-Trainer programs and end-user training deployment
Experience supporting post-go-live hypercare and user adoption activities
