    Description

    Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Trainer - Tele Operations for their Foster City, CA location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide dedicated training support to new hires and experienced operators through classroom facilitation, demonstrating, coaching, and providing feedback on day-to-day operating procedures
    • Reviewing daily performance feedback and addressing any training deficiencies escalated by team Instructors
    • Grading hands-on assessments, including on-the-ground and simulated training sessions and providing feedback to Training Coordinator and or business stakeholders
    • Conducting formal audits of operator performance for both new learners and experienced operators.
    • Occasionally filing in for operators on Service and R&D missions when they are pulled for training sessions
    • Assisting with training material updates as needed, and reviewing new training material
    • Working with Training Coordinators to identify areas of confusion or discrepancy in the training curriculum
    • Taking part in unique validation and testing missions as needed
    • Fulfilling an 8 hour minimum requirement per month, acting as an operator on service missions to keep knowledge and performance of SOPs proficient

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 months as a fully trained individual on the TeleOps team
    • 1-3 years of experience in the AV space
    • Knowledge of TeleOps procedures and responsibilities
    • High School/GED is required
    • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
    • Proven ability to problem solve and improve operational efficiency
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues to support trainees
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
    • Preferred Skills:
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace collaboration tools such as Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, and Forms
    • Experience in teaching, instructing, and/or training
    • Previous experience in a supervisory role
