Position Overview
The Trainer of Sales Learning and Enablement is responsible for delivering world-class onboarding and developmental training programs that accelerate the performance of SiteOne sales associates and sales leaders for a designated division (East or West). This role serves as a strategic business partner to Sales Leadership and a trusted resource for sales associates by improving sales readiness, reinforcing consistent sales behaviors, helping teams translate training into stronger customer planning, improving Salesforce adoption, and increasing sales revenue across the business.
This role will report to the Director - Sales Learning & Enablement, and partner closely with the Sales Excellence team.
Up to 35% travel throughout the United States is required to support sales training, onboarding, and field development initiatives.
What You'll Do
Sales Training
- Facilitate in-person instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (VILT)
- Conduct recurring weekly training classes for sellers and sales leaders, and deliver reinforcement training for existing sales teams
- Facilitate workshops focused on: customer planning, discovery conversations, solution selling, Salesforce CRM execution, opportunity management, account planning, and customer retention and growth strategies
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and continuous improvement of sales learning content, facilitator guides, reinforcement materials, and field-ready quick reference guides
Regional Onboarding
- Serve as the primary onboarding trainer for an assigned division
- Lead new seller and new sales leadership onboarding programs
- Track training and onboarding across the division and share progress with leadership team
- Ensure training completion and certification records are accurately documented, maintained, and tracked
- Supporting transition from training to field execution
Process Excellence
- Maintain a strong understanding of the sales team's day-to-day challenges by engaging in regular branch visits, seller ride-alongs, customer visit observations, and gathering field feedback
- Partner closely with Sales Associates, Sales Leaders, Sales Excellence, and Learning & Development to identify emerging skill gaps and gather learner feedback
- Monitoring trends and business changes
- Analyze adoption and engagement metrics and recommend training solutions and content improvements to ensure training remains relevant, practical, and aligned with business priorities.
- Participate in sales meetings and leadership events
- Support strategic initiatives and organizational changes
Learning Technology
- Facilitate Salesforce-related training programs
- Support digital learning initiatives
- Utilize LMS reporting and learning analytics
- Promote adoption of sales tools and processes
- Assist with development of virtual and blended learning experiences
Success Measures
Successful trainers will:

Skills We Are Seeking
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales, sales leadership, sales training, or enablement experience
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with experience delivering both virtual and classroom training
- Proficient use of MS PowerPoint
- Prior experience using business reporting and performance metrics to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities
- Strong executive presence and business acumen
- Ability to travel nationally
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence across organizational levels
- Demonstrated passion for developing others
- Ability to coach sales associates and leaders in a practical, field-relevant way, with credibility to observe sales behaviors, provide actionable feedback, and reinforce effective customer-facing execution

Preferred Qualifications
- Sales leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience serving as a trainer, facilitator, or enablement partner
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
- Familiarity with Articulate, or other content creation tools
- Proven initiative and ownership over companywide initiatives
- Experience designing and delivering adult learning programs
- Landscape, green industry, distribution, wholesale, or B2B sales experience
