SUMMARY: The Human Resources Trainer supports new team member orientation and assists production supervisors with on-the-job training for new hires. This role serves as primary contact for general HR-related questions from new hires and responds to concerns promptly and accurately. The position includes limited Human Resources duties, as well as support for janitorial and sanitation tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support new team member orientation, including submitting, filing, and maintaining onboarding, training, and time records.
  • Compile, organize, and maintain new team member personnel files.
  • Issue required personal protective equipment to new team members and explain proper use.
  • Assign identification badges to new team members and issue replacements as needed.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with various clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain informational bulletin boards within the production facility.
  • Process employment applications and assist with other employment-related activities.
  • Serve as a primary contact for general HR-related new hire inquiries and respond to questions or concerns promptly and accurately.
  • Assist with janitorial and laundry duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Required
    • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of human resources or related experience.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred
    • Bilingual verbal and/or written skills.
    • Poultry experience
