Position Overview
- The Trainee Laboratory Technician is an entry-level position responsible for supporting laboratory testing activities related to fluids used in downhole operations.
- The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn laboratory processes and testing methods.
- All necessary job-specific training will be provided.
- Laboratory environment supporting fluid testing operations.
- Travel required for New Employee Safety Training.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts as position requires rotation between day and night shifts.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Willingness to learn and accept training.
- Strong organizational skills and accountability.
- Assist with laboratory testing of fluids used in downhole operations.
- Follow laboratory procedures and testing protocols.
- Record and maintain accurate testing data.
- Utilize computer systems and software for data entry and reporting.
- Support multiple laboratory activities while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Work safely and comply with all laboratory and company procedures.
