Job title: Trainee Laboratory Technician
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Williston, ND
Payrate: $22 to $25 per hour


Position Overview
  • The Trainee Laboratory Technician is an entry-level position responsible for supporting laboratory testing activities related to fluids used in downhole operations.
  • The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn laboratory processes and testing methods.
  • All necessary job-specific training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Laboratory environment supporting fluid testing operations.
  • Travel required for New Employee Safety Training.
  • Must be willing to work rotating shifts as position requires rotation between day and night shifts.

  • Ability to multitask effectively.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with laboratory testing of fluids used in downhole operations.
  • Follow laboratory procedures and testing protocols.
  • Record and maintain accurate testing data.
  • Utilize computer systems and software for data entry and reporting.
  • Support multiple laboratory activities while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Work safely and comply with all laboratory and company procedures.
