Description
Trailer Technician
Schedule- Monday – Friday Some Saturdays
8am- 5pm
Pay- $18+++ and up Depending upon experience (Level I, II or III)
Job Duties:
- Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair.
- Operate a forklift.• Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment
- Ability to use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete trailer repairs.
- Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed daily.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
- Ability to work in the environment, hot, cold, dusty
- Lock Out Tag Out, etc
- Follow all SOP's
- Ability to wear all needed PPE throughout work shift
- Must have his/her own tools
