Traffic & Shipping Coordinator
Location: West Chester Twp, OH
Pay: $19.52 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Traffic & Shipping Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Traffic Coordinator to ensure products are shipped accurately, delivered on time, and supported with exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary customer service contact for distribution questions and delivery communications.
  • Prepare and process all shipping paperwork accurately and completely.
  • Create daily shipping routes and load lists.
  • Perform end-of-month finished goods inventory counts.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound freight carrier shipments.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of products.
  • Research and reconcile shipping and order discrepancies.
  • Communicate shipment delays, issues, and transportation challenges to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation and records.
  • Provide administrative support to distribution and logistics operations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of related shipping, logistics, customer service, transportation, warehouse, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable using general office equipment.
  • Good mathematical and data entry skills.
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
